Student Leadership

At Kings’, we believe that students should be given a wide range of opportunities to develop and practice leadership skills in preparation for life beyond school. Our Sixth Form students lead our Student Leadership Team, managed by our Head Boy and Head Girl. The main aim of our Student Leadership Team is to give the student body ownership over key decisions of our school; to create a team of student leaders who take action to improve our school and community.

To ensure that we have authentic student-led initiatives, the Student Leadership Team is divided into 5 separate councils.  The overall Leadership is conducted by the Head Boy and Head Girl, and then each council is led by a president and includes members from Years 7 to 12.  By dividing the school council into 5 councils, we ensure that each is action-focused and each works on different projects to support school improvement in different areas such as charity work, wellbeing, and environment.
